Job description

Bona Bros. is looking for a Diesel TruckTechnician at our heavy-duty truckrepair shop in New Brighton, MN.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3years of mechanical experience diagnosing and repairing a variety of diesel trucks.

Responsibilities:

• Repair, overhaul, and perform routine maintenance on diesel trucks and equipment according to factory specifications
• Knowledge of OEM testing equipment, scan tools, and precision instruments to troubleshoot electrical systems (training provided)
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in hydraulic systems, rail gear, mobile cranes, and truck utilities
• Perform inspections of vehicles and equipment (DOT, FRA, ANSI) - trainings offered for certification
• Test drive vehicles and test components to ensure repair satisfaction

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of mechanical repair experience on trucks/automotive to apply
• Knowledge of OEM testing equipment, scan tools, and precision instruments to troubleshoot electrical systems (training provided)
• CDL Class A or B (must obtain within 6 months of employment)
• Pass Drug Test
• DOT Inspector preferred (will send to class)
• Diagnostic equipment experience (OEM software)
