Job summary

Pilgrim's Pride is seeking a Truck Shop Mechanic to service diesel and gasoline trucks of all makes and models. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to powertrains, electrical, fuel, and emission systems. You must maintain records of services and ensure compliance with regulations.

The role requires owning your tools, CDL within 6 months, and strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting abilities. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Inspects and tests vehicles to identify defects and worn parts.
• Performs mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Keeps records of services and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Deter mines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests.
• Maintains vehicle availability by completing preventive maintenance schedules and updates.
• Repairs and replaces major assemblies and components, including powertrain, electrical, brakes, and hydraulics.
• Verifies performance by test drives and adjusting controls.
