Avis Budget Group’s Budget Truck division is seeking a Diesel Mechanic in Chattanooga, TN. You will perform repairs on cargo vans and box trucks, conduct routine maintenance, and assist experienced mechanics on complex repairs.

Willingness to travel to vehicle locations and potentially drive Budget Trucks on public roads is required. Requirements include a valid CDL (A/B/C), 2+ years of heavy-/medium-duty repair experience, at least 1 ASE certification (with potential to earn 2 more within the

Qualifications

• Valid CDL class A, B or C is required.
• 2+ years of experience with mechanical repairs on heavy/medium-duty equipment.
• 1 ASE certification with potential to earn 2 more in the first year.
• Knowledge of Engine, Drive Train/Axles, Brakes, Electrical, and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered cargo vans and box trucks.
• Assist senior mechanics with complex repair processes as needed.
• May travel to vehicle locations to diagnose and repair; may drive Budget Trucks on public roads.
