Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods in an industrial environment.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Overtime availability with short notice.
• Capable of pulling, reaching, bending, climbing and kneeling.
• Experience with hydraulics/pneumatics, wiring, and heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents, diagrams, and service manuals.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair equipment to keep operations running.
• Perform DOT maintenance on road tractors and trailers.
• Troubleshoot and fix equipment breakdowns.
• Keep work area clean and safe, adhere to regulations.
• Prepare and maintain records of services and repairs.
• Collaborate with supervisors and co-workers to meet production needs.

What You'll Do

• Demonstrates dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs
• Effectively communicates with co-workers and customers in a positive manner
• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns
• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulations
• Prepares and maintains accurate records of services and repairs
• Perform DOT maintenance on road tractors and trailers
• Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor

What You'll Need

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand for significant lengths of time in an industrial environment with exposure to all elements of weather
• Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to find root cause for equipment failures
• Ability to work overtime as necessary outside of normally scheduled shift with little or no advance notificationCapable of performing a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, reaching, bending, climbing and kneeling
• Experience with hydraulics/pneumatics, wiring, and working on heavy equipment
• Proficient in reading and understand technical documents, diagrams, and service manuals
• Valid drivers license
• Welding, cutting, and fabrication skills
• Electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting
• DOT and AC 609 preferred
• Perform Brake work & specific knowledge of trailer brake systems

Your Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
