Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Garner, NC is hiring a mid-level Diesel Technician to service heavy-duty vehicles. You will perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair components, working a second shift schedule on weekdays.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational/technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required and mechanical repair aptitude.
• 2+ years training or work experience in repair preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred; must obtain CDL within 6 months after hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles.
• Conduct standard maintenance and inspections; replace components as needed.
• Diagnose mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Interact with drivers to determine nature of the issue; document tasks.
• Adhere to safety, DOT, MOT and company compliance guidelines.
