Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. in New Caney, TX is seeking a Diesel Truck Technician to perform preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units. You will diagnose fuel, electrical, brake, and cooling systems, service APUs, and assist with FHWA inspections.

The role offers a flexible schedule (3x12 or 4x10), shift differentials for 2nd/3rd shifts, and opportunities for ASE certification pay increases, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year hands-on experience with DOT inspections or related duties.
• Valid driver’s license and toolbox readiness.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to quality work.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, trucks, refrigeration units, and APUs.
• Diagnose and repair fuel, electrical, drivetrain, brake, suspension, and cooling systems.
• Replace brakes and service trailer ABS systems.
• Complete FHWA inspections, tire mounting, balancing, and repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
