Job summary

D&W Diesel, Inc. in Albany, NY is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our team. You will perform repairs on diesel engines and fuel systems, upfit hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and install PTOs, blowers and pumps, while learning from skilled technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; training option available.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform daily mechanical tasks.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs on diesel engines, fuel systems and drive line components.
• Upfitting of hydraulic, pneumatic, and pumping systems on trucks, including PTOs, blowers and pumps.
• Observe, listen, and follow instructions from senior technicians.
• Communicate effectively, perform entry level tasks, and assist with general shop duties.
