Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–1 year mechanical experience with diesel engines preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older and fluent in English.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and basic computer skills.
• Beginner level knowledge of machines, tools, and shop systems preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A is preferred and DOT safety rules apply.

Responsibilities

• Move heavy duty vehicles into/out of yard, wash bay, or shop and fuel vehicles safely.
• Perform multi-point inspections and report issues per policy.
• Maintain fuel island area and assist with shop cleanliness.
• Attend Technician Training Development Program and complete required tasks.
• Engage with customers and Ryder teammates professionally.
