Ryder is hiring a Diesel Technician Trainee in Burnsville, Minnesota, offering pay while you train to become a Ryder Diesel Mechanic Technician. If you're interested in starting a new career, Ryder is looking for you!

Schedule: Monday–Friday, second shift 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm with weekends off. You’ll work with state-of-the-art diagnostics and tools on heavy-duty vehicles, with on-the-job paid training and opportunities for certifications and bonuses as you advance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Zero to one year mechanical experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficiency in English written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to learn equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Move heavy duty vehicles and fuel them while following safety policies.
• Perform multi-point inspections and report issues.
• Maintain fuel island area and perform basic facility maintenance.
• Complete Technician Training Development Program requirements and assessments.
• Support 6S standards for service island organization and cleanliness.
