Job summary

Ryder in Conway, South Carolina is seeking a Diesel Technician to maintain heavy-duty vehicles on a second shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance using state-of-the-art tools, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

The role requires ASE-style knowledge, strong mechanical aptitude, and ability to read codes and operate computer systems. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k) match, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Routine maintenance and repairs on automotive gas or diesel engines.
• Ability to read codes and operate computer systems.
• Experience with maintenance programs and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist and train technicians and provide customer service to daily customers.
• Oversee parts distribution, inventory, and shop reporting as needed.
