Job summary

M&K Truck Centers in Toledo, OH is hiring Diesel Technicians to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on new and late-model semi-trucks. This role is ideal for candidates with experience or interest in diesel engine repair, heavy-duty truck maintenance, and fleet service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Diesel technician school or technical training is preferred but not required.
• Experience with semi-truck repair, fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment repair.
• CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) – preferred, not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong work ethic.
• Minimum 18 months diesel repair or mechanical experience (preferred, not required for entry-level roles).
• Ability to work in a shop environment and collaborate with a team.
• Must own a basic set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair on diesel trucks (Mack, Volvo, and other makes)
• Complete preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy-duty trucks
• Repair and service: Brake systems, suspension, electrical, and emissions systems
• Accurately document all repairs, parts, and labor
• Work closely with service advisors and service managers
• Deliver high-quality, efficient repairs while maintaining productivity
• Provide excellent customer-focused service
