M&K Truck Centers is hiring Diesel Technicians to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on new and late-model semi-trucks at our Amherst, OH shop. We welcome candidates from entry-level tech school graduates to mid-level technicians with hands-on experience.

The role focuses on diesel engine repair, heavy-duty truck maintenance, and fleet service, with opportunities for paid training, certifications, and career growth within a fast-growing Midwest dealership group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Diesel technician school or technical training is preferred but not required
• Experience with semi-truck repair, fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment repair
• CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) – preferred, not required
• Minimum 18 months diesel repair or mechanical experience
• Ability to work in a shop environment and collaborate with a team
• Must own a basic set of tools

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair on diesel trucks (Mack, Volvo, and other makes)
• Complete preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy-duty trucks
• Repair and service: Brake systems, suspension, electrical, and emissions systems
• Accurately document all repairs, parts, and labor
• Work closely with service advisors and service managers
• Deliver high-quality, efficient repairs while maintaining productivity
• Provide excellent customer-focused service
