Job summary

I-State Truck Center is hiring Diesel Technicians, Truck Technicians, Automotive Technicians, Lube Technicians, and Entry-level Mechanics at our Bismarck, ND location. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks, perform preventive maintenance, and document work while following safety standards.

Qualifications

• Entry-level to experienced Truck Technicians.
• Diesel Technicians and Diesel Mechanics.
• Automotive Technicians transitioning to diesel repair.
• Lube Technicians and General Mechanics needed.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus).
• Reliable, safety-focused team players are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks, diesel engines, and related components.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and basic repair work.
• Complete repair documentation and communicate with service and parts personnel.
• Follow established safety procedures and quality standards.
• Work with industry-leading products from Freightliner, Western Star, Thomas Built Buses, Detroit Engines, and Cummins.
