Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and diesel engines.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and basic repair work.
  • Complete repair documentation and communicate with service and parts teams.
  • Follow established safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Work with industry-leading brands including Freightliner, Western Star, Detroit Engines, and Cummins Engines.

I-State Truck Center is now hiring Diesel Technicians, Truck Technicians, Automotive Technicians, Lube Technicians, and Entry-Level Mechanics at our Bismarck, North Dakota location.

What You'll Do
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks, diesel engines, and related components
  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and basic repair work
  • Complete repair documentation and communicate effectively with service and parts personnel
  • Follow established safety procedures and quality standards
  • Work on industry-leading products including:
    • Freightliner Trucks
    • Western Star Trucks
    • Thomas Built Buses
    • Detroit Engines
    • Cummins Engines
What We're Looking For
  • Entry-level to experienced Truck Technicians
  • Diesel Technicians and Diesel Mechanics
  • Automotive Technicians looking to transition into diesel repair
  • Lube Technicians and General Mechanics
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Valid driver's license required (CDL is a plus)
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented individuals
