Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Warwick, Rhode Island. You will perform maintenance and repair on heavy-duty vehicles, conduct preventive maintenance, and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational/technical certification or post-secondary degree preferred.
• Basic tools are required to perform job duties.
• CDL Class A license is preferred and may be required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair on heavy-duty vehicles.
• Executes preventive maintenance and component inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical/electrical problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
