Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician C in Indiana to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. You will work under supervision, learn vehicle systems, and support drivers with routine servicing on a modern fleet.

The role emphasizes basic troubleshooting, adherence to SOPs, and ongoing training opportunities. Eligible employees receive comprehensive medical, retirement, PTO, and other benefits as part of a stable, long-term career path.

Formación

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE T8 PM certification is a plus but not required.
• 1–3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance or a related field.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
• Performs vehicle preventive maintenance inspections and adjustments.
• Conducts oil changes and fluids replenishment; tire changes; basic electrical work like light changes.
• Conducts visual inspections to identify issues and sources of malfunctions using a variety of tools.
• Completes applicable company training programs and performs other duties as assigned.
