Ryder is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Bowling Green, Kentucky, providing a stable career with weekly pay and excellent benefits. This second shift runs 11:30 am–8:00 pm, Monday–Friday with weekends off, and an hourly pay of $24.51.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• Valid CDL CLASS A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Diagnoses standard mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer where applicable.
• Identifies root cause of basic failures and performs repairs as required.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Performs facility maintenance duties.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint.
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
• Complies with safety, DOT, MOT guidelines.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

CDL CLASS A preferred
