Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred
• Vocational or technical certification preferred
• Basic tools are required
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including routine maintenance

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Diagnoses mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic tools
• Identifies root causes and performs repairs as needed
• Replaces defective components as instructed
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue
• Adheres to safety and procedural guidelines
