Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred
• Basic tools, required
• Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including routine preventive maintenance such as oil changes, brake and tire work

• Performs standard component inspections and repairs

• Diagnoses standard mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable
