Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical certification or post-secondary degree preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Two+ years in mechanical repair experience preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred; must obtain CDL within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Inspects components and performs repairs as needed.
• Performs preventive maintenance per schedule.
• Diagnoses mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root causes and replaces defective components.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to clarify issues.
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
• Complies with safety, DOT, and MOT requirements.
• Performs other duties to support operations.
