Job summary

The position features a Monday–Friday schedule, first shift 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, with extensive pay incentives including hourly pay of $26.50, certification bonuses, and quarterly bonuses. Candidates must have basic tools and diesel/mechanical experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification post secondary degree preferred.
• Basic tools, required.
• Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including routine maintenance.
• Two years or more of training/experience in required area.
• CDL Class A preferred; must obtain CDL within 6 months after hire; pass drug test and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools when applicable.
• Identifies root cause and performs required repairs.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
• Uses Shop Management System for documentation.
• Adheres to safety, DOT, and corporate guidelines.
