ACTS Fleet Maintenance, Inc. is seeking experienced Diesel Technicians to service medium and heavy-duty trucks in shop and in the field. Competitive pay, full benefits, and ongoing training are offered. State Vehicle Inspector certification is required; CDL is preferred but not mandatory.

The role covers preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs with OEM and aftermarket tools, plus mobile service support. Join a driven team focused on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Diesel Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Fleet Technician or Heavy Truck Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with medium and heavy-duty trucks.
• Familiarity with OEM and aftermarket diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.
• State Certified Vehicle Inspector Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines.
• Troubleshoot electrical, emissions, and aftertreatment systems.
• Repair brake, steering, suspension, driveline, and transmissions.
• Use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software and scan tools.
• Complete inspections and repair documentation accurately.
• Verify repairs through testing and quality inspections.
• Support customers through shop and mobile service operations.
• Operate mobile service: diagnose/repair at customer locations, manage daily calls.

ACTS Fleet Maintenance is hiring experienced Diesel Technicians to join our growing team. We service medium and heavy-duty commercial trucks and fleet vehicles both in the shop and in the field.

• $30.00-$50.00 per hour based on experience

What You\'ll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines

• Operate independently and manage daily service calls
• Deliver professional customer service
• Maintain a safe and organized mobile work environment
