Job summary

Liberty Waste Solutions is recruiting a Diesel Technician / Mechanic-B for full-time work in Raleigh, NC. The shift runs from 3:30am to 1:30pm, with a focus on mid-level repairs and basic electrical troubleshooting of heavy equipment.

Candidates should be able to diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include diagnosing diesel engines and hydraulic/control systems, repairing shop and on-road equipment, using electronic diagnostic tools,

Qualifications

Diagnose and repair diesel engines, chassis, bodies, and heavy equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
Repair company equipment in shop, and on-road service.
Use electronic tools to identify malfunctions.
Welding and fabrication skills.
Maintain the highest standards of safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency.
Must have basic computer skills and a valid driver’s license.
Demonstrate ability to coach/mentor/influence others.
