Job summary

Liberty Waste Solutions, LLC in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic-B for full-time day shift 3:30am to 1:30pm. You will diagnose and repair diesel engines, chassis, and heavy equipment, with emphasis on safety and quality.

The role requires the ability to work independently, basic computer skills, and a background in electrical, hydraulic, and control systems. Four years of relevant experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent; certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
• Advanced analytical and repair skills
• Four (4) years or more Relevant work experience, preferred
• Must have basic computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc
• Must have a valid driver’s license, be reliable and punctual.
• Demonstrate ability to coach/mentor/influence others

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, chassis, bodies, and other heavy equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and control systems
• Repair company equipment in shop, and on-road service
• Use electronic tools to identify malfunctions
• Welding and fabrication skills
• Maintaining the highest standards of safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency
