Main Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure the safety of vehicles for customers
• Use Penske’s tools and technologies for diagnostics and repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance like tire rotations and fluid changes
• Collaborate with managers to learn new skills
• Complete other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude; 1-2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Problem-solving skills and comfort with tools
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and outdoors
• Basic computer skills

Additional Requirements

• Adherence to safety policies and regulations (DOT, OSHA)
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Willingness to work specific shifts and undergo background checks, drug screening, and physical exams

Physical and Safety Considerations

Must be able to move frequently, stand, walk, climb, and work safely at heights and in all weather conditions.
