Ready to accelerate your career while helping our customers move forward? As a Technician at Penske, you'll perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a modern fleet of vehicles. Your role is vital in helping customers keep their vehicles in top condition and on the road.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers
  • Log, research, and complete repairs using Penske’s tools and technologies, including diagnostics
  • Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotations, lubrication, electrical repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel vehicles
  • Collaborate with your manager to learn new skills through training and hands-on coaching
  • Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude; 1-2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Problem-solving skills and comfort with tools
  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Teamwork and outdoor work capability
  • Basic computer skills
  • Compliance with safety and regulatory policies, including DOT, OSHA, and Penske standards
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and requires a current driver qualification file, drug screening, physical exam, and background checks. Candidates must be able to work safely, adhere to safety policies, and work in various weather conditions.
