Ready to move your career forward? As a Technician at Penske, you’ll perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles. You’ll help our customers keep their vehicles in shape and on the road.

As a Technician II at Penske, you are trusted to work independently on major and minor repairs, perform road tests, and complete maintenance tasks. You will also mentor new technicians and continue to grow your skills through training.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers
  • Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers
  • Diagnose and repair components like engines, transmissions, and fuel systems
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Use Penske’s tools and technologies for diagnostics and repairs
  • Learn new skills through training
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned

Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of vehicle maintenance experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification preferred
  • Experience with diagnostics and troubleshooting major components
  • Proficient with tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Problem-solving and communication skills
  • Teamwork ability
  • Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
  • Basic computer skills
  • Compliance with safety policies and DOT regulations
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly and 100lbs occasionally
Additional Requirements

This role is safety-sensitive and regulated by DOT, requiring a current driver qualification file, DOT physical, and drug screening. Willingness to travel within the district and work scheduled hours is necessary.
