Job summary

Bobcat of Tennessee is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our team. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing Bobcat compact equipment, delivering strong customer service and a can-do attitude.

The position offers $25.00-$33.00 per hour DOE, Monday-Friday (7am-4pm) with great benefits and an efficiency bonus. 2+ years of experience with diesel, hydraulics, electrical and diagnostics are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in heavy and/or equipment service operations (skid steers, excavators, etc.).
• Strong mechanical background with diagnostics, diesel mechanics, hydraulics and electrical.
• Self-motivated, organized, energetic, and able to stay calm under pressure with multiple ongoing projects and some computer use.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily equipment and preventive maintenance inspections.
• Diagnose and repair major systems on compact equipment, including Bobcat line.
• Perform system rebuilds and overhauls; welding.
• Collaborate with Parts, Service, Sales, Rental teams.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
