Job summary

Bobcat of Cerritos is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our service team. You will diagnose and repair all major systems on Bobcat compact equipment and perform preventative maintenance with a can-do attitude.

We value a strong mechanical background, 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment service, and the ability to work calmly under multiple projects. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (7am–4pm) and a competitive hourly rate with an efficiency bonus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in heavy equipment service operations.
• Strong mechanical background with diagnostics, diesel, hydraulics, and electrical.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure with multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair major systems on Bobcat/compact equipment.
• Perform system rebuilds and overhauls.
• Welding.
• Coordinate with Parts, Service, Sales, Rental teams.
• Complete tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
