Job summary

Liberty Waste Solutions in Fayetteville is actively seeking a permanent-full-time Diesel Technician to support our truck fleet. Pay ranges from $32 to $40 per hour depending on experience, with benefits after 90 days.

Immediate start for a skilled mechanic capable of diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of relevant experience, basic tools, and a valid driver’s license, with the ability to lift 50 lbs and work in both shop and on-road

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational/technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Four+ years relevant work experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, chassis, bodies, and other heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
• Repair company equipment in shop and on road.
• Use electronic tools to identify malfunctions.
• Welding and fabrication skills a plus.
• ASL/Frontload experience a plus.
