FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Hissong Group, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Technician. The primary responsibility of the Service Technician is to run the diagnosis and perform repairs as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Communicates with Parts Department and Service Advisor as needed.
2. Diagnoses vehicle malfunctions and performs repairs.
3. Examines assigned vehicle for additional service or safety needs.
4. Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
5. Maintains a clean and organized work area.
6. Operates tools and equipment safely.
7. Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training.
8. Performs repairs according to dealership and factory standards.
9. Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
10. Reports safety issues to management.
11. Road tests vehicles as required or refers to test technician.
12. Saves and tags parts as needed.
13. Supervises apprentice technicians (if applicable).
14. Follows all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
