Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of automotive repair experience desired.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean record.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive work orders and perform designated servicing and/or repair jobs.
  • Provide automotive services on the road or at locations other than a fixed repair shop using our mobile service van.
  • Locate and diagnose problems with malfunctioning vehicles; road test vehicles as appropriate.
  • Identify necessary parts; prepare parts and labor price quotes.
  • Plan and perform a wide range of mechanical or electrical repairs.
  • Perform regular service and preventive maintenance tasks on vehicles in order to keep in safe, dependable operating condition.
  • Service new cars prior to delivery,ensure good running order, and installing accessories if necessary.
  • Ensure that inspected and registered vehicles meet government standards for safe operating condition.
  • Maintain shop tools, equipment and work areas.
  • Maintain all required documentation of service work done.
  • Continually update product knowledge needed to work on new models.
The ideal Diesel Technician candidate:
  • 1-3 years of experiencedesired.
  • Prior dieselengine experience required; Ford experience a plus!
  • Must possess a High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years old with a valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Must have your own tools
  • Must foster an attitude of improvement and take pride in a job well done.
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and information.
  • Ability to understand and apply complex diagnostic information.
  • Ability to prepare parts and labor quotes and to document work performed.
