Immediately hiring a Permanent Full-Time Experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet at Ryder in New Stanton, PA.

• Average Weekly Pay: $1113
• Hourly Pay: $27.84 per hour
• Quarterly Bonus: Ryder pays up to $500 every quarter
• Sign-On Bonus: $2500
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, weekends off
• Hours: First shift 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or technical certification preferred
• Basic tools required
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including:
• Routine preventive maintenance like oil changes, brake, and tire work
• Minimum two years of related experience or training preferred
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred

• This position requires driving Ryder vehicles. To become an employee, you must:
• Obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
• Pass Ryder drug test
• Pass DOT physical
• Pass Ryder road test
• Clear background and motor vehicle checks, including drug and alcohol verification from the last 3 years

• Identify root causes and perform repairs
• Replace defective components
• Support facility maintenance duties
• Interact with customers/drivers to clarify issues
• Use shop management systems and electronic documentation
• Follow all safety and compliance guidelines
• Support operational needs as required, including service island support
