Job summary

Dolese Bros Co in Enid, OK is seeking a skilled mechanic to maintain and repair a fleet of company equipment and vehicles. The role requires safe, efficient, and productive workmanship with attention to paperwork and compliance.

You will perform general and advanced repairs, fix electrical and hydraulic systems, brakes, engines, transmissions and differentials; welding may be involved. Valid Class B CDL (preferred) and a good driving record valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with A, B, C and D mechanic services.

Responsibilities

• General and advanced repairs of all vehicles and related paperwork.

• Maintain neat and professional shop areas and attendance.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring quality vehicle maintenance by performing general and advanced mechanical repairs on all company equipment and vehicles in a safe, efficient, and productive manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Ability and skills for general and advanced repairs of all vehicles and completing all paperwork related to repair orders.
• Ability to repair electrical systems, hydraulic systems, brake repair and replacement as directed.
• Assisting with component rebuilding such as engines, transmissions, and differentials.
• May be responsible for welding associated with the above duties.
• Assisting other mechanics as needed and completing special projects for the shop supervisor .
• Wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE) related to task being performed as well as using all required safety equipment and procedures.
• Maintaining a neat and professional appearance of self and shop areas.
• Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned work location
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience/Education/Skill Ability to perform all A, B, C and D mechanic services.
• Ability to perform all outside service interval items.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and complete a brake job.
• Ability to do minor electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform services and repairs with quality and in a timely manner.
• Ability to perform PM services.
• Class B CDL with air brakes (Preferred)
• Able to perform all tasks in a safe and timely manner.
• Complete understanding and operation of mixer controls.
• Good safety and driving record
• Willingness to work nights, overtime and weekends as required.
• Excellent verbal, written and comprehension communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude that fosters effective relationships
• Ability to wear a respirator and perform work.
• Self‑motivated, organized and can work without direct supervision.
• Ability to work near, around or on light or heavy equipment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lift objects of various dimensions and up to 100lbs. of weight frequently
• Ability to repeatedly climb stairs and climb ladders
• Ability to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects
• Ability to use vibration tools repeatedly
• Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather conditions.
• Ability to repeatedly reach, squat and tolerate prolonged standing / walking / sitting
• Ability to repeatedly walk on uneven surfaces
