- Hourly Pay: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour
- Certification Bonus of $100 for each new ASE certification obtained, up to $700
- Quarterly Bonus: Ryder pays up to $500 every quarter
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, weekends off
- Hours: First shift 5:00 am – 1:30 pm

Requirements
Additional requirements:
- Ability to perform all T3 tasks
- Advanced analytical and repair skills in vehicle maintenance
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Basic computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability for shift work, weekends, and on-call duties
- Prefer ASE certification in PM, brakes, A/C, electrical, electronics, or ASE master mechanic
- Proficiency in operating shop computers and diagnostic test equipment
- Minimum tool requirements
- Ability to road test vehicles as needed
- Ability to coach, mentor, and influence others
- This position requires driving Ryder vehicles. To become a Ryder employee, you must:
- Obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
- Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, and road test
- Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle checks, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Responsibilities
- Complete SBTIII training within 180 days
- Complete OEM online diagnostic courses within 365 days
- Complete instructor-led OEM courses as required
- Perform vehicle maintenance, preventive maintenance, and complex repairs
- Use maintenance documents and diagnostic tools effectively
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems
- Assist roadside breakdowns via remote triage
- Perform facility maintenance duties
- Interact with customers/drivers to determine issues
- Instruct and mentor other technicians
- Advise shop management on repairs
- Utilize shop management systems and documentation
- Follow safety and compliance guidelines
- Support operations as needed
