Job summary
Clarke Power Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician for a Light/Medium Duty role in South Carolina. The first shift runs 9:00am to 5:30pm, with opportunities for training, competitive salary, benefits, and career growth.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years in the field, related certificates, ASE certification a plus, and a valid driver's license. The position involves diagnosing and repairing light/medium duty diesel trucks, using diagnostics tools, and performing preventive
Qualifications
- Excellent diagnostic skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- 3+ years' experience
- ASE certifications a big plus
- State Inspector License a big plus
- CDL a plus
- Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Card
Responsibilities
- Familiar with light/medium duty chassis, suspension, HVAC, engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose cause of non-conformance and identify corrective action.
- Diagnose and repair basic equipment wiring.
- Must be able to use computer diagnostics.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
