Job summary

TravelCenters of America’s Truck Service team is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers with a customer-focused approach. You will work in a fast-paced environment across multiple locations, ensuring safety and quality in every service provided.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in repair or parts shop preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose wear conditions and make recommendations to customers.
• Complete repairs within capabilities and as written.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
• Provide accurate, efficient service to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers.
