Job summary

Wallwork/Valley Imports is seeking a Diesel Technician Intern in Minot, ND. You will learn inspections, preventative maintenance, and adjustments under the Service Manager and senior technicians to support diesel equipment operation.

The role includes performing basic repairs with oversight, maintaining records, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards while gaining hands-on experience with our team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and tests.
• Keep equipment available by completing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assist with basic repairs under mentor oversight.
• Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing standards.
• Maintain vehicle records of services and repairs.
• Follow shop procedures, troubleshoot, and keep supplies stocked.
• Pursue ongoing education by reading technical publications.
