Job summary

Allegiance Fire & Rescue is seeking a Diesel Technician in Oneonta, New York. This role involves providing technical service on vehicles and equipment, troubleshooting, and performing repairs.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years minimum work experience as a Medium and/or Heavy Diesel Technician.
• Must have successfully completed appropriate diesel/automotive certificate programs or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Able to use a personal computer and basic applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service on vehicles and equipment including troubleshooting, electrical and diagnostic services.
• Read Repair Orders and perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines, and components.
• Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work environment.
