Job summary

Allegiance Trucks is seeking a Diesel Technician to service medium and heavy-duty trucks at our Bethel, CT location. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines and electrical systems on various brands, with an emphasis on safety and quality repairs.

You will read repair orders, install major components, and ensure vehicles are returned to customers meeting all specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.
• Must possess a full set of personal hand tools.
• Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines and vehicle systems.
• Experience with a range of truck brands is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service on diesel trucks including troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Read repair orders and perform general and detailed repairs on engines and components.
• Install parts such as injectors, bearings, transmissions, brakes, and related systems.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow company safety practices.
• Collaborate with Service staff and advise on additional repairs as needed.
