Diesel Technician in Manatee!

Waste Pro of Florida is seeking a Diesel Technician to join our team in Sarasota, Florida. This role involves diagnosing and repairing engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and body components on heavy and light-duty trucks, including gasoline, diesel, and CNG systems. Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.

Our technicians work on trucks from top brands like Mack, Freightliner, Peterbilt, McNeilus, and Heil, and get to work on alternative fuel fleets such as CNG, LPG, and Hybrid. Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Communicate with management and drivers about vehicle issues and preventive measures.

  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Use electronic systems and factory manuals for diagnostics and repairs.
  • Conduct safety inspections and perform repairs adhering to recommended times.
