Job summary

Penske is seeking a Technician at the Shreveport location to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will work with experienced staff to learn Penske’s maintenance processes and cutting-edge technology, while growing through the company’s technician training program.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, automotive repair experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT/safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe and reliable for customers.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, diagnose, and repair vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training and coaching.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
