Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions in McDonough, GA is seeking a skilled Technician II to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll work with modern equipment, log diagnostics, and learn Penske’s maintenance processes alongside experienced peers.

Qualifications

3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
Perform preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment with little supervision.
Repair and troubleshoot components such as engines, transmissions and differentials, turbochargers, fuel system components, etc.
Keep your work area clean and safe.
Use Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
