You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, and repair brakes, suspensions, electrical and air systems in a safety-focused shop. Qualifications

• 1-5 years of diesel, fleet, truck, trailer, or heavy equipment preventive maintenance and repair of Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailer inspection.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must pass background check, MVR review, drug screen, and physical examination.
• Ability to obtain required industry certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers.
• Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, electrical, and air systems.
• Complete truck and trailer inspections.
• Perform wheel-end, tire, and preventive maintenance services.
• Troubleshoot starting, charging, fuel, and HVAC systems.

• Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Work safely in a team-oriented shop environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers
• Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, electrical, and air systems
• Complete truck and trailer inspections
• Perform wheel-end, tire, and preventive maintenance services
• Troubleshoot starting, charging, fuel, and HVAC systems
• Maintain DOT compliance standards and inspection requirements
• Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately

Pay Range: 21.25-31.92 per_hour, General Benefits:

• $21.25-$31.92 per hour Elk Grove Village,IL.
• Guaranteed pay increases based on training completion and verified experience

Requirements

• 1-5 years of diesel, fleet, truck, trailer, or heavy equipment preventive maintenance and repair of Class 5 - 8 commercial vehicles and tank trailer inspection
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid Driver's License
• Must successfully pass a background check, MVR review, drug screen, and physical examination as a condition of employment due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.
• Ability to obtain required industry certifications
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
