Job summary

Penske is seeking an experienced Technician at our Concord location to maintain and repair our fleet. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and perform major and minor repairs with limited supervision. You will mentor others and learn from leadership while working with the latest technologies and OEM equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• Specialized training in engines, transmissions and differentials; ASE and 608/609 preferred.
• Experience with diagnostic and shop equipment; able to interpret vehicle data.
• Able to follow DOT/OSHA and Penske safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance with little supervision and timely.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools and tech to log, research and complete repairs.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Work on other projects as assigned by supervisor.
