Job summary

E.W. Wylie in Arlington, WA is hiring a journeyman Diesel Technician to maintain our Class A fleet. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance from inspection to repair, ensuring safety and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong diesel knowledge, tool proficiency, and the ability to work independently. Competitive hourly pay ($24.00–$29.03) and full-time, on-site schedule with benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 1+ year on heavy equipment.
• Associates degree or certification in diesel technology preferred.
• Own a complete set of tools for maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on trucks and equipment (PMs) including oil changes and DOT inspections.
• Perform corrective maintenance, including accident work and electrical diagnosis.
• Diagnose and repair equipment using diagnostic software and manual analysis.
• Review maintenance software, create repair orders, and track parts and notes.
