Job summary

Texas A&M University Transportation Services seeks a Diesel Technician I to perform skilled maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment in College Station, TX. The role includes engine servicing, diagnostics, and parts replacement with a starting rate of $25.20 per hour.

Uniforms and tools are provided, with shift coverage Mon-Fri evenings and summer days. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, 2 years of relevant repair experience, and can obtain a Texas Class B license within 60

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in repair and maintenance of heavy-duty vehicles or equipment.
• Must be able to obtain Texas class B CDL within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Repair heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, servicing engines and components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service orders.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify engine and electrical faults; document work.
• Operate and drive DOT-regulated vehicles as required.
