Job summary

FleetPride, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Technician I in Marietta, GA. This entry-level position performs basic mechanical repairs and routine maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will work in a non-climate controlled shop and participate in training programs.

We offer comprehensive benefits, weekly pay with monthly productivity bonuses, and a full boot/tooling program. Valid CDL is preferred but not required, and safety PPE is provided.

Qualifications

• Diesel Technology associates degree required.
• 1+ years of mechanical experience.
• Air Brake certified.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Experience as a Class 7 & 8 Technician.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications and filter replacements.
• Repair, relining, replacing and adjusting brakes (air, hydraulic, electric).
• Test drive vehicles and components with proper equipment.
• Troubleshoot exhaust, steering, and A/C systems.
• Record services and parts used, note customer requests.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
