Job summary

FleetPride in Albany, GA seeks a Technician I to perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers, following industry standards and company policies. The role is entry level and requires Diesel Technology training and 1+ year of mechanical experience; CDL is preferred but not required.

Work in a non-climate controlled shop and maintain safety and organization. We offer weekly pay with monthly productivity bonuses, full benefits from day one, two weeks of vacation,

Qualifications

• Diesel Technology associate degree or equivalent training.
• 1+ year of mechanical experience.
• Air Brake certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services (oil changes, lubrication, filters).
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric).
• Test drive vehicles and components to diagnose issues.
• Record services, parts used, and any customer requests.

Skills

Class 7 & 8 Technician experience
