FleetPride, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking an entry-level Diesel Technician 1 to perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers in a non-climate controlled shop.

You will complete oil changes, brake work, diagnostics, and light mechanical tasks with safety as a priority. Requires a Diesel Tech associate degree and 1+ year experience; CDL is preferred but not required. Weekly pay, full benefits, and vacation/holiday time are provided.

Formación

• Diesel Technology associate degree.
• Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience.
• Air Brake certification.
• Valid Driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications and filter replacements.
• Maintain 80% productivity.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric and brake accessories).
• Test drive vehicles and components using proper equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair exhaust, steering, and air conditioning systems.
• Record final measurements and parts used, note customer requests.
• File, grind, sand, and smooth filled or repaired surfaces using tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
